I got home a little late tonight, so no long post, but Jamie caught this today and it was too funny and had to go up. He loves his jungle jumper. Thanks Tull Family!

Spittin'
Elicia and I learned a long time ago that blowing in babies faces makes them hold thier breath. Until this week I always that that was just a fun way to teach them to swim, without thinking about the complications. Matthew is finally big enough to comfortably face forward in his Moby, so we put him in facing out, and headed out for a walk. All was fine until we rounded the corner into the wind. Poor kid is spitting and sputtering as he's trying to breathe while his reflexes are trying to make him hold his breath. We turned around and headed home.
Yep, he's spittin' a lot. Most of the time it's cute, sometimes it gets messy though. Poor kid has to wear a bib around all the time now.

We're pretty sure the drooling and spitting is a result of teeth. He'll chew on just about anything in site. Jamie got him Sofie the Giraffe to chew on and he loves it.

For those awaiting the bunny pictures, we couldn't find a cute bunny suit on short notice, so Jamie glued a tail to his diaper. I give you Baby Bunny.

(note the drool, it has a shadow!)
Matthew sleeps a lot of his naps in the ergo baby. For those unfamiliar, when sitting in this the baby faces you and wraps thier legs around your waist. The other day he took a really long nap on me. He was stuck like this for a while.

The other night, I got a unique treat, and Matthew crashed out on me and kept sleeping without the ergo and constant rhythmic bouncing. He hasn't done this in a few weeks. Isn't he sweet?

Jamie had me get out and set up the Jungle Jumper. He loves it. He's figuring out how to swing and play with the toys.

Gimme the camera!

Tummy time!

Summer is coming! Getting ready for the beach!

Sick Baby
Well, Matthew has gotten his first illness on Friday. Just a minor case of conjunctivitis, but he was NOT a comfy baby there for a while. Back to his happy self now though.
I mention it mostly because he got weighed and measured again. 15lbs 8oz, 26inches long. Growing like a weed. We're now on to the 9m clothes, he was 3 months old on Thursday.

Last Friday, Matthew made his first trip the the Seattle Aquarium with Drew, Kate and Ben. Not sure he got a lot out of it, but he did stare at the tropical fish when he wasn't sleeping.

On Saturday we went to the Grandparents to visit Tina, James and Isaac who had come up for a visit. Matthew had a good time.

He especially enjoyed his new sock monkey. Thanks Tina!

Look what they did to poor poppy.

This last Thursday, Jamie took Matthew to the zoo with Elicia, Erica, Ned and Felix.

Jamie decided if he was going to see the Giraffes, he should be dressed like one.

The bubbles are one of his favorite things to do now.

Can you see the look of "Where's my chips?"

A few additional pictures for the fan club.
