I don't think this needs any input from me. Enjoy!

Holidays Time Again!
Well, it's the holiday season again, and Matt has definitely been enjoying himself!
First, a few randoms that are just too cute not to post.
The next day we met up with them again at the Christmas tree farm so they could get a tree. Matt had his first visit with Santa, but unfortunately the print is a little grainy, so it won't scan. At least it was only $10 and no waiting in line!
Jamie and I have had the same fake tree that I bought on closeout at walmart for 10 years. We had intended to use it again this year, but as we were leaving, we walked past the pile of tree tops, and Matt made a selection.
First, a few randoms that are just too cute not to post.
Going for the camera.
No mommy, I have NO idea what happened to all the tape!
Drinking some "coffee".
Lazy Saturday morning.
New favorite toy, cutable vegetables. He plays with these a LOT!
We had snow before Thanksgiving this year. While it gridlocked all transportation in the greater Puget Sound area, Matt enjoyed it. Some of the primary entertainment was Matt's comments about the snow.
He kept saying "Brrr.. It's C-c-c-c-Cold!"
Matt wandered out to the lawn and says "Grass...is....Allgone!?"
We went in the backyard to do some adventuring. Apparently we were going on a bear hunt, because Matt kept saying "Notta da 'fraid!"
This one is just cute.
On Thanksgiving Grandma, Grandma and Ann joined us for some dinner. Matt had a very good time with everyone.
Stealing pie from grandma
Uh... Watcha doin' there bud?
Hanging with Grandma and Ann
Let's find a good one!
Grandma and Matt scoping out the trees
Nah, he wasn't having fun at all...
Yikes! Grandma kisses!
Matt and his tree.
So guess what had to come home with us?
.
We're slowly adding decorations to the tree, letting Matt do some of the work
That night the Virnig clan came over to help us kill the leftovers. For some reason most of the pictures were blurry.
Matt helping GranDan look for his cup. I hate it when I lose stuff like that.
Matt and Jamie have been doing a lot of project during the day. Matt helped with the tree ornaments.
Doing some Painting.
"Need some paint?"
What a ham.
He's also very good at helping with the baked goodies consumption!
I think he ate 3 of these at one sitting.
Everybody loves cupcake cones!
Last weekend we went down to a Christmas lights display with the Tulls. Matt had a blast playing with the boys and looking at the lights and the Christmas Ships.
Trying to tell Jack something.
Getting squeezed by Jonah!
Nothing like a candy cane for the drive home to round out a fun night. (plus the sugar kept him from sleeping in the car)
Elf on the Shelf
Jamie and I went shopping that weekend, and cam across and "Elf on the Shelf" kit. It came with a little elf, and a book to describe how the elf comes and visits until Christmas, reporting back each night to Santa about the child's behavior, helping to solidify which part of The List a child lands on.
Well, it was $50 and the elf looked a little too much like he may come to life and murder you in your sleep, so we passed. Instead Jamie found this little, non-homicidal looking elf for $4.
The same night we got the elf, a toy magazine came for Matt. When he came across the leaf blower/lawn mower/chain saw set he got very excited. "Want Dat!"
We told him to tell the elf what he wanted so Santa would know what to get him. He immediately ran over to the el and started loudly exclaiming "Leaf blower elf! Want the Leaf blower elf!" I wish I had video, but unfortunately our camera met the pavement a few months ago, and no longer does video.
Hope everyone had a great Turkey day. I'll try and update at least ones more before X-mas. Hopefully we'll have a new camera soon!
Jake
