Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!  As my Christmas present to you all I'm updating the blog with some new pictures.  Hopefully things slow down enough after the holidays that I can get back to at least once a month.

Lily and Dolly, just hanging out.

A little stink face because I interrupted cartoons.

They don't often play together well yet, but when they do, it's awfully cute.

Lily in her cold weather gear.  I call this Army Smurf.

Only a month or so past Halloween, but still rocking the pumpkin hat.  Keeps him warm anyway.

Our little daredevil.  She's only fallen off twice.

Matt trying on his new fancy clothes.  I had pictures that turned out better, but his expression in this one just makes him look so grown up I had to post it.

Rotting their little brains....

 "Smile!"

Cuddling with Grandma at her Birthday party.

 Where's Lily?
 "Right here!"
It's pretty dark by the time I get home this time of year.  The other night Matt wanted to go Jeeping with Lily, so I duct tapped 2 flashlights to the front and let them go for it. (Oh, the spots are the flash hitting the rain, it was POURING, not that they cared)

One Saturday we went to the local swap meet, and wound up at the Western History Museum next door.  This place is awesome, and super kid friendly.  We will be going back.

Driving tractors

Happy girl.

What a clown

The head of the museum talked to us for a bit, and took us for a buggy ride around the parking lot.  Jamie wimped out, but the kids and I had a good time.

Matt, making rope on a rope maker from 1908.

Peddling the  tractor with a toy power take off attached.

 Grinding corn

 Running the trains

We went to the Christmas Tree farm with Grandma, Grandpa and Anne again.
Grandpa teaching Lily the difference between the tree species.

Leading Mommy through the Trees

Trying to locate the ideal tree.

Matt, going through the tree baler.  He really wasn't sure what was happening, and to be honest I thought the guy was just gonna let him crawl through the barrel....

At the Tree Farm we go to they have a Santa, and it's not to expensive to have the kids picture taken, so we use this as our "Picture with Santa" opportunity.  Lil had missed her nap, and wasn't too happy to start with.  Being dropped on a random fat guys lap did not go well.

Celebrating Lil's B-day with my family a few months late.  Not like she cared.

 Party Hat!

 Santa's making dinner?

Lily doesn't tolerate the hat as well, but she likes to take it off and on.  Had to be quick to get this one.

I scored a bike for Matt with Training Wheels for $5, so Matt's been working on his pedaling skills.  He'll be two wheeling it soon I'm sure.

Climbing Smurf!

 1) Matt is Cat in the Hat obsessed.  2) Jamie has started Wool Felting.  Result?  Awesome felted wool Cat in the Hat toys!

Matt, when prompted to smile at the Garden D'lights display.

Thanks for the Monkey blanket Auntie Ann!

Lily is now big enough to join Matt in the tub.  She is Tub Crazy.  Every time I change her diaper, she starts getting excited, screeching "Tub, Tubba, Tubby!"  Same response anytime I walk into the guest bath, and when I get home from work.

Big girl with her water bottle (which she cans say now!)  So nice when they learn to ask for what they want!

 Matt's stacking tower.

Lily climbs to the top of the stairs on her own now, then stands back from the edge and screams "Hep! Hep! Hep!" Until someone comes to get her.

Matt and Jamie went to a play, so Lily got the tub to herself one night.  It was a challenge to extract her.

She crawled into the ottoman herself the other night.  Usually Matt throws her in there.

Christmas Tree making.  Matt decided it made a good Elf hat.

"HAIR!" (What Lily was screaming as she pulled.)

Kisses make it better.

Merry Christmas Everyone!
