Almost Spring

We've had a fairly cold winter this year.  Luckily both kids are old enough now that they can be bundled and taken outside to play no matter what the weather.  We managed a couple of trips to the cabin, and even had some snow at the house to play in.

Matt's construction skills are improving.  Almost as tall as he is.

Jamie had to make a quick phone call. While on the phone, Lily disappeared.  It wasn't hard to locate her, just follow the path of destruction.

At least she knew where the TP was supposed to go.

In other exciting news we've broken ground on the beach house.  We couldn't possibly have an excavator around and not go watch right?

Matt's 4th Birthday

For Matt's birthday this year we rented out 'Pump it up' which is one of those places that used to be a warehouse that they put big inflatable toys in.  All the kids had a blast and I'm sure slept as well as Matt and Lily did that night!

This thing was nuts, it was a ramp you were supposed to run up and grab a velcro flag off of.  The kids did better than the adults since they didn't collapse it.

Xmas Vacation 2012

We had a great Christmas and new years this year with family and friends.  I took a two weeks off of work, which is always fun with babies at home, because instead of getting to see them in little 2 hour snapshots at night, I get to spend more time watching them grow up every day.   Lily went from speaking a word here and there to combining words together, most often "Get it." or "Open it"  Now she gotten in the habit of pointing at whatever I'm eating and yelling "Bite!" as if all my food is hers.

Auntie and Uncle were nice enough to host the annual Chang/Daws/Walters/Virnig/Rogers Christmas get together at their house, which was great for us since it's only a few minutes away!

Mommy needed some time to clean up when we got home, so I took the kids outside to run a bit.  Lily has taken Matt's toy and is making a break for it!  This is pretty common around here now.
