After Matt's Birthday we went over to Grandma and GranDan's to see cousin Martha. She became an excellent "bin" for soup cans.
The following weekend we went up to Snoqualime falls so Matt could look at the falls again.
We went to the brewery to get some beer while we were there, Matt needed to help me get them loaded into the fridge.
It's been warm through January, so Matt's been getting to play outside a bit. He's not so sure about the grass when he falls in it though.
Matt's also been to the Zoo a bit lately. The Wagon works well for draging him around, it's easy to get in and out of.
This is Matt's water bottle. It get hauled around all over. We tried all manner of sippy cups, but this is what Mom uses, so it's his preferred beverage delivery system.
Too Tall!
His hair was getting long, and Jamie and I both got the "How old is she?" comments form strangers, so off to the barber for Matt.
Check out the cool barber chair (it's a Blue Angel)
Notice the little rat tail in the back? Not cool.
No more rat tail!

OK--the lion hat was a keeper. I think he should wear that all the time--Happy birthday Jake! did you get a lion hat too? Once they get a hair cut babyhood is over and they look like little kids from then on! Keep up the good work!
Ann, the Meyers gave us that cute lion hat... did you notice the matching lion mittens?? Matty gets LOTS of compliments at the zoo on his hat... he even learned how to roar like a lion when he wears it! He wears the hat all the time... not always the mittens as there are so many things to touch!!!! Thanks Tina, James and sweet Isaac for the fashion must-have of 2010!
Hi, Matt, Jamie, and Jake,
Sorry I haven't checked in. We saw the new pics as soon as they were out--great shots. Thanks for the picture of the lion hat. I can't find cute stuff for Isaac to wear anymore, so Matt is going to get stuck with my purchases. (Whose dumb idea is it that Middle Schoolers just want to wear skulls, etc, anyway?) Good thing I can still find pi shirts on the internet. Speaking of fashion, did Jake approve of the Man Purse Matt was holding in the one shot? I bet words are pouring out of him these days! Spring break is coming, and Isaac is starting to hint about maybe taking a trip up north... Keep the great pics coming-- we think about you lots.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT ELICIA!!!
