Construction!

I know this post took a while, we've been busy keeping up with our little monkeys and construction at the beach property.  With any luck we'll have construction wrapped up in August, so life should get a little less hectic then.

Anyway, on the the kiddo pictures!

Any chance Matt has to get down to the construction site, he's all over it.

Getting Muddy.

Any chance to play in a muddy trench.

Had to clean him up for the drive home.

 Cleaning off the foundation.

 Watching the framers.  Serious business.

 View from the second floor.

Matt hard at work as usual.

Taking a break for some beach time.

Last weekend Lily finally got to come down and check things out.

Bob the builder and his assistant inspecting the progress

I think Matt's getting comfortably at the job site.

Pushing sister in Auntie's new car.

Uh, buddy, that's not going to work to get rid of her...

Showing off more construction skills

"Smile!"

Well, at least we got one to smile.

Jamie and the kids found a thriving colony of lizards in the yard this winter.  This has provided a lot of entertainment.

Believe it or not the lizard survived the baby.

Big girl working with her spoon.

Bust still a baby at nap time.

Auntie helped Matt this year at the Children's Hospital Lego build fundraiser.

A masterpiece.

 Cuddle time after nap.

Kisses for brother.

Isaac helping Matt build... something?

The right way to eat spaghetti!

Playdough is exciting!

Easter time!
 Lily got some peeps!
Matt ate his in small bites.

Lily just shoved the whole thing in.  It was a while before she could talk.

Matt stole Lily's ears.

Baby Gillian came over to help look for Easter eggs.

Lily in her Easter dress playing on the deck .

The frog boots make the outfit.

The excitement of the hunt.

GranDan and Uncle had the right idea.  Staying out of the chaos.

A few weeks ago Jamie had to attend her Grandfathers funeral, leaving me with both kids for the day.  I knew the only way to survive was to keep them busy, so we loaded into the car to go adventuring.

First a little hike on the Snoqualmie railroad trail.

Then a visit to the trains in downtown Snoqualmie.

 More trains.

Can't go all the way up there without a visit to the falls.  It was windy, and there was a LOT of water coming over the falls.

Couldn't get them both to look at me at the same time.

Followed up the falls with a stop by the Tolt river for some rock throwing.  They napped well after that.

Turning the tables on Mommy.

A little dinner with the Heidergott's.  The boys are big enough to need a kids table!

Hair is getting long enough to make a pony tale!

Baby girl in her prisoner jammies.  Matt wore these at 9 months....

I turn away for 1 second, and Lil has gone to work on brother with tub crayons.

Loving the little sister.  Little sister not loving it.

Mommy and Lil.

They're awfully cute when they're getting along.

 Teaming up for cat torture.

The other night after dinner, Lily lost her mind. The entire video is 5 minutes long.

Friday we finally got to do Matt's Birthday helicopter ride.  We lucked out and had AWESOME weather for it.  The pilot even took off the door, which for a 4 year old was pretty great.

One of the pilots got trapped answering a LOT of questions while we waited for our ride.

Ready for takeoff.

 Cruising the coast.

Space needle

 Very serious in flight.
 Post ride he finally smiled.

Lily was with Grandma and GranDan while we went for our ride.  Anytime I leave her with my family, she comes home in cuter clothes than the ones we left her in.
Sun Baby!
